Socialista Media is expanding and looking for an Editor to work across our key flagship communities 2threads.com and thiswayin.com.au and client content production campaigns.

The successful applicant will have a background in writing, an interest in youth culture and a passion for the digital world.

The position is located in our Surry Hills office within a growing team.

The role involves:
- Content production for Socialista Media websites: Thiswayin.com.au and 2threads.com and new platforms soon to be released.
- Content production for client campaigns
- Management of in-house, freelance and contributing writing, photography and video teams
- Development and management of content syndication programs and initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a similar digital role.
* Understanding of social media, search engine optimization and community management principles.
* Background in creative writing or communications.
* Strategic thinker with an understanding of creative content production and commercial sponsorship integration.
* Motivated and independent self-starter.

Package
This is a full time permanent position. Salary level dependant on experience.
